What is my permanent email address at uor.org? If your sign-in name is jthomas, your email address is jthomas@uor.org. This is only an email forwarding service. Mail sent to jthomas@uor.org is forwarded to the your email address provided at the time of registration.

Can I get a home page at uor.org? Yes, everyone has a homepage at uor.org. For example, the URL of the home page of jthomas will be http://uor.org/cgi-uor/homepages?usr=jthomas. Substitute your sign-in name for jthomas. Feel free to give out this URL. Your home page is automatically generated from the information provided at the time of registration. You can update this page simply by updating your registration information.

How do I add/drop myself from a mailing list? Mailing lists are also automatically generated from the registration information. Simply update your registration information to make a change in your subscription of mailing lists.

How do I generate a batch list? On the search page, enter year, degree and department, leave other fields blank, and click Search.

How do I register both as faculty and student? Simply register twice. You will need separate sign-in names.

Why do some pages not show up well? This site is best viewed using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher. Download it free.

How do I add uor.org to Favorites? Click here to add uor.org to your favorites.

What is launchpad? http://uor.org/launchpad.htm is a collection web services in one place to simplify web exploration. The results of any search show up below the jump station (links in the red box). Normally, you can get back to the desired service by clicking the corresponding link in the jump station. However, if you further browse the results, you may loose the jump station. Who created this web site? I'm Rakesh Agrawal, a 1974 B.E. graduate in Electronics and Communications. My father, Prof. Ram Kumar, taught in the Mathematics faculty in early 1960s. My father-in-law, Er. R.L. Agrawal, was also a Thomasonian.
